From Waco, Texas, Dixon starred in high school, earning 1st-team All-District and 1st-team All-State after registering more than 300 tackles at the safety position. Considered a 4-star recruit by Rivals.com and the 18th best safety prospect in the nation, Dixon accepted a scholarship from Baylor University to play college ball.
Dixon continued his hard-hitting style at Baylor during his three years as a Bear. He would go on to earn a 2x All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2011 and 2012, and an All-Big 12 and 2nd Team All-American in 2013.
Dixon was selected in the 7th rounder of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, and has also played for the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, and the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL.
At age 26, Dixon believes he has a lot of strong football ahead of him. He will join The Spring League in 2018 to showcase his skills in front of all the scouts in attendance.
