Edwin Baker

A Highland Park, MI native, Baker was routinely ranked in the top-10 RB prospects in the nation. Baker decided to stay local during his collegiate career, going on to star for the Michigan State Spartans. Baker finished his Spartan career as a three-year letterwinner, rushing for 2,293 yards on 462 carries  (5.0 yard per carry) in 21 career starts. He was selected First-Team All-Big Ten in 2010 as a member of the Big Ten champion Spartans. Baker also earned his place on the Doak Walker Award Watch List (nation’s top running back) and Maxwell Award Watch List (nation’s most outstanding player).

Baker was selected in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers, and also had stints with the Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints, and Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.

Baker will participate in The Spring League in 2018, looking to prove he belongs back on football’s greatest stage.
