Lynden Trail

From Miami, Florida, Trail committed to Norfolk State for college ball. In 35 games (27 starts) as a Spartan, Trail had 255 tackles (41.0 for loss), 19.5 sacks, 18 passes defensed, eight forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and two interceptions.

Trail made the first-team All-MEAC, was a two-time finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award as the top defender at the FCS level and was selected the National FCS Defensive Performer of the Year by the College Football Performance Awards.

The 6’7″, 277 lbs linebacker went undrafted in 2015, but quickly signed as an UDFA with the Houston Texans. He then was signed to the Washington Redskins practice squad, working his way to the active roster in 2016. Trail also has a stint with the Rams’ practice squad, as well.

In 2018, Trail will join The Spring League to prove he belongs back in the NFL.
