Former Auburn running back Ben Tate is the most accomplished of the players with Alabama football roots participating in the Spring League this year.
Tate ran for 2,363 yards in four NFL seasons, but he hasn’t played in the league since 2014. Tate also participated in the Spring League’s inaugural outing last season.
The Spring League started practice this week in preparation for its games on April 7 and 12 at Kelly Reeves Stadium in Austin, Texas, part of a program that runs through April 13.
